In the midst of an economic downturn, many companies are fighting to stay in business. With attention focused on the situation, Karten Design has recently established a partnership with the non-profit corporation California Manufacturing Technology and Consulting (CMTC). CMTC, a private non-profit corporation, was established in 1992 to provide consulting services to small and mid-size manufacturers in Southern California. Affiliated with the Department of Commerce, CMTC is able to provide financial incentives for Southern California manufacturers to complete consulting projects, ultimately stimulating the economy. The latest in our series of curated homepage art are photographs taken by Karten Design’s Product Architect, Dennis Schroeder. This set highlights Dennis’ longtime interest in vintage cars. He has spent more than 15 years photographing cars at events like the Monterey Historics and Concorso Italiano.
As a designer, Dennis is fascinated with details in color, form, graphics, and mechanics. This has inspired his macro photography when it comes to cars.
